Babies don't need much

If your baby's needs are outpacing your income, then you are spending too much on the baby. At 5 months, they need very little. As others have said, cloth diapers are far more cost efficient (and you can use them for cleaning rags for years after that). Make your own baby food in the blender or food processor. My son was never fed Gerber food, and he is now 6' 5". Clothes, you can find some darling clothes at rummage sales. Babies don't know the difference. Toys, they don't need as many toys as you think, in fact, I think they are better off without so many. Play with them yourself, they learn much more interacting with their parents
